Living & Dining
Sofas, sectionals, recliners, coffee tables, dining sets, chairs, bookshelves, entertainment centers, TV stands, area rugs.
Furniture, mattresses, appliances, garage piles, attic clear-outs, yard waste, e-waste — full-service residential junk removal in El Monte for everything the City's free 20-item program won't take or can't schedule fast enough. Flat-rate $99–$599. Bilingual two-person crew. No weight surprises.
El Monte's residential stock runs dense — single-family homes on tight lots, garage-conversion ADUs in nearly every Norwood-Cherrylee and Mountain View block, and multi-generational households with 3.5+ people per dwelling on average. That density means every house cycles through furniture, appliances, and seasonal clutter faster than the City's bulky-item program can clear it. Junk Removal Pros is the El Monte–based crew you call when Valley Vista's 20-pickup yearly cap is gone, when you've got a move-out the city can't schedule around, or when the items they won't take (renovation debris, business equipment, full appliances over their limit) need to leave the curb fast.
If it's in your house and you want it gone, it almost certainly fits one of these six buckets. If yours isn't here, text a photo and we'll say yes or point you to the right place.

One picture of the pile, the room, or the curb. Request a quote at (626) 835-1948 with your El Monte zip (91731 / 91732 / 91733). Our dispatch responds within 30 minutes Mon–Sat. We'll quote on the photo alone — no estimate visit, no callback game.
You get the truck-size tier, the eco-disposal add-ons if any (mattresses, fridges, TVs), and the final flat number. Labor, hauling, sorting, and disposal are all included. The number you see is the number you'll pay — no weight games, no callbacks, no surprise add-ons after the work is done.
Same-day for most calls before noon, otherwise a scheduled window — usually within 2 hours of confirmation across El Monte. Our two licensed crew members walk the job, confirm the price hasn't changed, then handle 100% of the lifting, loading, and stair work. You don't touch anything.
On the truck, items are sorted: usable furniture and appliances to San Gabriel Valley charities, electronics to DTSC-certified e-waste, scrap metal to certified recyclers, construction debris to LA County–certified MRFs (70%+ diversion mandate). Only true non-recyclables reach a landfill. We sweep the space, hand you a receipt, and donation receipts are issued on request.
The national franchises route your call to a regional dispatch in Pasadena or downtown LA, then sub-contract a truck that doesn't know the difference between Mountain View and Valley View. We dispatch from inside El Monte itself — Plus Code 3XG9+R3Q — which is why our quotes come back in 30 minutes and our trucks arrive in two hours instead of two days.
The City of El Monte contracts Valley Vista Services for residential trash and includes 20 free bulky-item pickups per single-family home per year — call 800-442-6454 to schedule. Valley Vista picks on your regular trash day and won't haul construction debris, business waste, or hazardous materials. We're the paid option once you've used the 20 yearly pickups, when you can't wait for the next collection day (move-outs, estate sales, post-renovation pressure), or when the items don't qualify (renovation debris, full appliances over their per-pickup limit, refused items). Most of our residential calls fall into one of those three buckets.
Everything. A two-person licensed crew, all lifting and stair work, hauling to a certified facility, sort + donation routing, broom-clean walkaway, and disposal fees. We price by volume (how much truck space your items occupy), not by weight, so heavy items like appliances, concrete chunks, and dense hardwood don't trigger surprise charges. The only add-ons are small eco-disposal fees on items that require special handling — mattresses (+$30), refrigerators or AC units (+$50 for EPA Freon recovery), TVs/monitors (+$25), tires (+$15 each), hot tubs (+$300 for disassembly), and pianos (quoted per visit). They're disclosed in the original quote, never tacked on after.
Yes for normal renovation debris — drywall scrap, flooring tear-out, cabinets, bathroom fixtures, small concrete pieces, lumber off-cuts. We mix it in with household items at the same flat-rate truck-size tier. For very large concrete or asphalt loads (over ~500 lbs), we'll usually recommend a 10-yard dumpster rental as a cheaper alternative. For asbestos-containing materials (common in pre-1978 El Monte homes), we don't haul — we'll point you to a Cal/OSHA-certified abatement crew first. Request a quote of the mixed pile and we'll quote the right approach upfront.
Same flat-rate tiers, same two-person crew, same response window. Pick your closest neighborhood or sub-city for area-specific pricing examples and FAQs.
